Seeing is Believing: From Multi-Step Processing to Plug-and-Play Purification

At Precision Chroma, our goal is to eliminate the bottlenecks that slow down biomanufacturing. Recently, as part of our participation in the BioTools Innovator Program, we put together a short video that perfectly encapsulates our mission and the real-world impact of our technology.

For decades, the purification of biological therapeutics has relied on older, highly manual processes. Moving from unclarified cell culture to a purified product traditionally requires a complex sequence of centrifugation, filtration, and multiple chromatography steps. It is time-consuming, expensive, and limits how quickly new treatments can scale.

In our new 1-minute video, we compare these legacy methods with the future of bioprocessing. By leveraging our 3D Printed Monolith Adsorption (PMA) columns, we are turning a cumbersome, multi-stage bottleneck into a streamlined, plug-and-play, single-step purification process.

Why does this matter? Simplifying biologic purification goes beyond just saving time in the lab. It accelerates overall drug development and manufacturing, ultimately making life-saving medicines more affordable and accessible to the patients who need them most.
