Accelerating Biomanufacturing Readiness: Precision Chroma Awarded VANGUARD Funding

At Precision Chroma, our goal has always been to simplify biologic purification so that life-saving medical countermeasures and therapeutics can be deployed faster and more efficiently. We are thrilled to announce a major milestone in that mission.

In June 2026, Precision Chroma was selected from a highly competitive pool of over 175 international applicants to receive a $200K non-dilutive funding contract through the BioTools Innovator (BTI) VANGUARD program.

A joint initiative between BTI and the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA), the VANGUARD program supports the development of innovative technologies that enhance the United States' readiness for public health emergencies.

Over the course of a 6-month technical development project, this funding and expert mentorship will be directly applied to the pilot-scale validation of our 3D printed monolith chromatography columns. By bypassing the traditional biomanufacturing bottlenecks, our technology aligns with BARDA’s critical mission to strengthen infrastructure and rapidly advance the development of medical countermeasures when they are needed most.
